The Power Station That Runs Your Whole Home — Not Just Your WiFi.
No generator. No noise. No fumes. Just seamless backup power that switches in 10 milliseconds — and keeps everything running.
2048Wh · 2400W · UPS 10ms · LiFePO4 · 3,500 cycles · Charges in 2hrs · 12 ports · LED torch
Most power stations keep your WiFi alive. The Hero Pro keeps your home running — from your airfryer to your washing machine. At 2400W output with 2048Wh of LiFePO4 capacity, this isn't backup power. It's independence.
| ✦ 2400W rated output · ✦ 2048Wh LiFePO4 · ✦ 10ms UPS switchover · ✦ 3,500 cycle lifespan · ✦ Full charge in 2hrs · 500W solar · 12 ports |
What makes this a UPS, not just a power station?
Most portable power stations take 20–30ms to switch when power cuts — long enough to crash a desktop PC or restart a router. The Hero Pro switches in 10 milliseconds. Keep it plugged in permanently. When loadshedding hits, nothing restarts. When power returns, it recharges silently in the background.
Why not a cheaper backup?
Budget UPS units power one device for 30–60 minutes. Even most mid-range power stations cap out at 1000W — meaning no hairdryer, no airfryer, no washing machine. The Hero Pro's 2400W output changes what's possible during loadshedding. It's not just a backup. It's a replacement.
Perfect for
✓ Whole-home loadshedding backup — runs large appliances, not just lights
✓ Home offices and professionals who can't afford downtime
✓ Families who want to cook, clean, and live normally during outages
✓ Extended power outages and off-grid living
✓ Construction sites and outdoor power tools
Still portable
At 22.5kg and 39.2×27.9×32.3cm, the Hero Pro is substantial — but it has handles and moves on its own. Wheel it between rooms, load it into a vehicle for a campsite or worksite, or set it up permanently in your home office. It's the only unit in the range that can power an entire outdoor event or construction setup.
Why you'll love it
| ✓ | 2400W rated output — runs what other power stations can't — hairdryers (1800W), airfryers (1800W), espresso machines (1500W), washing machines (850W), circular saws (1200W), electric drills (850W). These are real household appliances and power tools that a 1000W-limited unit simply cannot run. At 2400W pure sine wave, the Hero Pro is the only unit in the ALLUSTRA range that makes loadshedding genuinely invisible for most households. |
| ✓ | 2048Wh LiFePO4 — double the capacity, decade-long lifespan — 2048 watt-hours is twice the Hero Max and nearly double the Challenger Pro. A 55" LED TV runs for 11.7 hours. A desktop PC for 5.5 hours. LiFePO4 chemistry handles partial charging far better than standard lithium-ion, carries a significantly lower risk of thermal runaway, and is rated for 3,500 charge cycles — the same lifespan as the Hero Max. At 2 hours of loadshedding daily, that's over a decade of daily use. |
| ✓ | Full charge in 2 hours from a wall socket — at 2048Wh, charging in 2 hours is exceptional. Standard units at this capacity take 8–12 hours. The Hero Pro's 1100W AC input means it fully recharges between loadshedding stages — even during shorter windows. It's a daily appliance, not a once-a-month emergency backup. |
| ✓ | 500W MPPT solar input — the fastest solar charging in the range — the Hero Pro accepts up to 500W via its Anderson/MPPT port (11.5V–50V, 25A). That's nearly double the solar input of the Challenger Pro (300W). A 500W panel setup in good sunlight charges the Hero Pro in approximately 4.8 hours — fully off-grid capable for extended outages or remote use. |
| ✓ | Adjustable input wattage — won't trip your circuit — a unique feature in this range. If your home's circuit breaker is sensitive, dial down the charging wattage so the Hero Pro draws less from the wall. Charge at reduced speed without tripping your distribution board. Particularly useful in older homes or when running on a limited circuit. |
| ✓ | 12 output ports — the full household powered at once — 2× 220V SA plugs (2400W combined), 1× USB-C PD 100W, 3× USB-C PD 20W, 2× USB-A QC 3.0 18W, 2× DC5521 12V/3A, 1× car socket 12V/10A, 1× XT60 12V/25A. Plus a built-in 1W LED torch for immediate light when the grid drops. |
Estimated run times — single device
Note: Total connected load must stay below 2400W. Appliances exceeding 2400W combined will trigger overload protection after approximately 10 seconds.
| Device | Draw | Runtime |
| 55" LED TV | 140W | 11.7 hrs |
| Desktop PC | 300W | 5.5 hrs |
| Double-door fridge | 780W | 2.1 hrs |
| Microwave | 800W | 2 hrs |
| Washing machine / Electric drill | 850W | 1.9 hrs |
| Circular saw | 1200W | 1.4 hrs |
| Espresso machine | 1500W | 1.1 hrs |
| Airfryer / Hairdryer | 1800W | 0.9 hrs |
| TV + router + laptop + lights* | ~200W | ~9 hrs |
Quick estimate: Runtime ≈ 2048Wh ÷ total watts used. Example: 400W setup = ±5 hours. *Combined estimate for typical loadshedding use.

Frequently asked questions
Can it really run a hairdryer or washing machine?
Yes — the Hero Pro's 2400W rated output is specifically designed for high-draw appliances. A hairdryer (1800W) runs for approximately 0.9 hours, a washing machine (850W) for 1.9 hours. The key is ensuring your total connected load across all ports stays below 2400W combined. Single high-draw appliances are fine; running a hairdryer and a washing machine simultaneously (3600W total) would exceed the limit.
Why does the battery show 90% after extended UPS use?
This is normal and by design. After 2 days of continuous UPS mode operation, the Battery Management System throttles the charge between 90–100% to prevent overcharging and extend long-term battery health. It does not affect the rated 3,500 cycle lifespan or the unit's ability to run connected devices. Think of it as the BMS protecting your investment automatically.
What does adjustable input wattage mean?
The Hero Pro lets you manually reduce the power it draws from the wall while charging. If your home circuit trips when the Hero Pro charges at full 1100W, you can dial it back to 800W or 600W so it charges more slowly without overloading the circuit. This is especially useful in older homes, flats with shared circuits, or when running other appliances simultaneously while charging.
Is it safe to use indoors?
Completely safe. Zero emissions, no fumes, no exhaust. LiFePO4 carries a significantly lower risk of thermal runaway than standard lithium-ion chemistry. Run it in your lounge, home office, or kitchen without ventilation concerns. Unlike a petrol generator, there is no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Can I use it while it's charging?
Yes — this is UPS mode. Keep it plugged in with your devices connected. When loadshedding hits, it switches to battery in 10ms with no interruption. When power returns, it recharges automatically while continuing to power everything connected. You never need to touch it.
How long does delivery take?
Free nationwide delivery across South Africa within 5–7 working days. The Hero Pro ships as a single unit at 22.5kg — ensure someone is available to receive at the delivery point. Tracking provided once dispatched.
